I love the kolcraft contours double. It is not a side by side so fits easily through doorways. It's light & folds easily & has a huge basket. You can have 2 toddler
Seats or use infant bars to hold any brand of infant carseats or a combo of infant toddler. The toddler seats can face either direction & recline. I am really pleased with it. Big canopies too.

Sorry this is choppy I'm Typing on my phone

This is an older thread (I started it back in May); but I wanted to add an update and give reviews on all 3 of the double strollers I have now owned.

I first had the Baby Trend Sit N Stand Double stroller.
      Positives:
-can easily fit through a doorway
-the backseat can easily be transitioned from a seat (for babies and toddlers) into a bench (preschoolers)
      -roomy storage basket
-nice parent tray and kids trays
      -easy to fold
      -great canopies
      Negatives:
-HEAVY and hard to push, forget about grass or hills! This was a BIG negative for me b/c I use the double stroller mainly for walks in the neighborhood and we have hills and grassy areas I need to use.
-Neither seat reclines much at all

Next I bought the Graco Duoglider:
      Positives
-seats recline almost fully, especially the back! The backseat is almost like a pram when reclined. Perfect for newborns
      -easy to fit through doorways
      -roomy storage basket
      -Folds super easily
      -great canopies
      Negatives:
-It is still a little heavy and hard to push with two toddlers. Better than the Baby Trend, but still not great.

I sold the Graco and bought an Instep Safari Jogging Double Stroller:
      Positives
-LOVE LOVE LOVE how easy it is to push!!! It takes very little effort to go uphill, through grass, or dirt. For me, this makes it better than any other stroller I've had so far.
-has removable seat pads that are washable and super comfy
-folds fairly compactly for a jogging stroller
      -seats recline pretty far
      Negatives
      -canopy is not so good
-storage basket is not easily accessible
-my model doesn't have a parent tray or kids trays
-not sure it would fit through doorways, though I've never tried. Definitely not great for maneuvering through tight spaces though.
-not easily folded, though it's okay when you get the hang of it

Out of the three I've had, for walking through the neighborhood, the Instep Jogging stroller is THE BEST! I highly recommend it.

          • It's not side-by-side so it's narrow enough to fit through any doorway
          • They aren't expensive and run about $150 brand new (I bought mine used in excellent condition from CL for $80)
          • I think it's one of the easiest regular (not jogging) stroller that I have used and it turns easy
          • You can easily sit infant carriers/carseats (I have only tried Graco) into either seat and the sun shades create a cacoon of protection against wind/sun etc.
          • It is lighter than any other regular double stroller that I have ever used and I can easily lift it into my van or even up high onto my DHs pick-up truck (I'm 5'5" and weigh 115lbs)
          • The sun shades come off easily if you don't want to use them
          • When you fold it up it stands on it's own. I fold it up and throw it in the back of my van and leave it standing so I don't lose storage space back there by having to lay it down.
          • The rear seat lays down almost completely flat

There are other reasons but I figure these were the most relevant reasons for you.

I have that one and I have this one

I like them both I bought neither. I like the side by side for 2 older kidlets that want to see. I like the other one for the baby to be in back. I have a 15 yr old son that on the days I need to use both, he pushes one and I push the other. If I have to push older kidlets the side by side is easier to push and walk with. RIght now I could honestly use a quad but I don't want to pay the money and in another year 3 of them will be able to walk!

Old subject, but my favorite, ever, is a Combi side by side (cosmo or sport, not the new one). I've had three of them and loved every single one of them. Easy to fit through doors, easy to maneuver one handed, and plenty of room, and folds up super small.

I have this stroller too and recommend it. The only thing I don't like is that it can get a little awkward with reclining the seats if they are facing opposite directions (1 forward/1 backward).

I also have a Britax B-agile double. I really like it and also recommend it. It is a side by side, so it is a little wider. It is super easy to push and turn, even 1 handed. Mostly, I have only used it when going for walks, so I haven't tried very many doors to see if it will fit through.

I have used other strollers that have 1,2, or 3 seats that were either just ok or I just downright hated, but both of these I highly recommend. I tend to like the Kolcraft contours more for infants and the Britax b-agile for toddlers, but they both work fine for either.

"Baby trend" seems to be the one most of my clients choose. Has great ratings, too. Several of them meet up after closing time weekly to run together.

                  - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.
