    Anybody Else Dealing With Arthritis?

    I have Rhuematoid Arthritis that I have had since childhood. And it has caused complications with ny back, kness, and now my shoulders. It makes doing day care a real challenge some days. Is there anybody else who is having issues with arthritis or back or knee problems? If anybody is living with these conditions I would love to hear from you. I am looking for somebody that I can share with about these things. Please feel free to PM me if you want. Thanks!

      I have psoriatic arthritis caused by my psoriasis. My joints kill. Especially when the weather changes or it's cool and rainy.

      I wasn't diagnosed with psoriasis until my late 20's although I've always been able to tell when it was going to rain by my achy knees. Even as a young kid!

      It makes the job challenging somedays. That's part of the reason I only like taking 1 infant at a time now.

        I have arthritis in my knee, bad back, and a bad ankle. Half of the time I can't walk right. I wouldn't be able to keep a job outside of the house to save my life! Thank God I do a job where my clients only see me for a few moments each day. They don't see me trying to move during the day.

          I have arthritis from two different falls, one 12 years ago and the other last year. I've just learned to ignore it. Working out helps. Today its raining so of course my back is aching.

              I have severe arthritis in both of my knees and both of my feet. Some days it's a real challenge to get out of bed... nevermind actually working, keeping up the house and LIVING. It can be VERY depressing at times.

                Yes! Thank you! I did see it. I just haven't had a chance to answer it yet. Been busy with the kids. I will send a message back if I can get them all to sleep this afternoon. Otherwise I will do it after they all leave today.

                    I have or rather had osteo arthritus in both knees. I have had them both replaced. Life is MUCH easier now

                    Have you tried fresh pineapple. It has to be fresh or frozen not canned. Heat kills the enzymes. a cup a day worked wonders for me to reduce inflamation.
                    It:: will wait

                      I am so glad Im not the only one!! I was diagnosed when I was 28 right after I had my third baby. I was so sick, I couldn't even get out of bed or hold or pick up my newborn son. That was a few years ago, Im alot better now but I don't have any movement in my wrists or ankles. And the arthritis is setting into my neck and back now.

                      On the positive side, I always know when its going to rain!!! ::

                          Oh, it sure does make the job challenging and babies are the hardest. I prefer not to take any babies at all anymore cause it is so hard for me to carry them and hold them on my lap and such. And it is especially hard if they cry a lot. Right now I have two babies because two moms who already have children here had babies and now another mom is pregnant. Now I love babies, but it just isn't easy taking care of them with arthritis. I can tell when the weather is going to change, too.

                            Oh, I hear you! I have a hard time walking and standing for any length of time. There is no way I could do any job outside of my house either. I wouldn't make it through the first day. All my clients know that I have arthritis, but like you said, they only see us for a few minutes each day. They don't see us trying to move all day long.

                              Me, too! I have to get up early in the morning to get moving good by the time the kids get here.
