Anyone Use The Clip On Highchair/Seat At Table?

I am looking at maybe getting something like this....

but not sure if it can be used at my playroom table, which is something like this....

I got rid of my highchair a while back, had no space for it. I feed babies in the fisher price infant to toddler rocker, and then when they are big enough they sit at the table but there is a few months in between (like 9-16 months old) where they are eating table foods but aren't big enough for the kid chairs yet so I thought of getting one of those clip on style seats. What age do they outgrow those clip on seats - would a 14-15 month old fit in one??

I used them on my heavy wooden tables, not sure how safe it would be on a lighter table.

I started using them with the boys at about 1 yr.

I use both the items you have pictured together. I use that seat on that table

If I remember correctly the weight limit is like 26 pounds or something. The seats themselves are roomy. I have had 18 month olds in them. The do clip on the table well, wash fantastic, dry without shrinking the only draw back to the chair is they are a pain in the butt to take off and on sometimes.

I will continue to use them instead of high chairs after the child is able to sit up in one.

thanks! I would probably just leave it attached most of the time so taking it on/off wouldn't be a big issue.

I do have one of those seats that strap on to a kitchen chair that I can use - I just use it on the floor, not on a chair but I kind of like the idea of getting them to sit at the table like the bigger kids.

yes...I have 2 of those for my twins...but DO NOT buy the ones you just showed. They are not cool. I ordered 2 and sent them back because they were flimsy c***.

I got two Graco Tot-loc chairs (without the trays) on Ebay. This is what I had 20 years ago, and it took a little searching, but they are much sturdier.

Here's a random example from Ebay. I highly recommend you look for around. I paid $20 for one and $25 for the 2nd one on Ebay. I am fairly certain they will last many years!

In my state they are not allowed for licensed daycares.

I have used those chairs with those tables. I have also used the type that Heidi posted with the hard bottom and back. I prefer the hard ones. My biggest reason is the ones you posted are soft enough that when the kid is big enough and can slide down enough to reach the floor, they can actually stand up still buckled into them I have had it happen and immediately took them out of it and put them into the other kind.

I used one of those for my dd and loved it, but we used it on the counter top. The table you pictured looks a little weak to put it on though- if you had something sturdier I would try it.
