a child in my care has roseola. she just told me after brining him to the doctor. yet,her older two children are still here. =/ any advice? how serious is this? should they go home as well? i called my children's doctor and they basically said its my call, since they could have it but not show symptoms due to the incubation period. i'm freaking out..any advice would be awesome!

Let me tell you, Roseola is nothing to play with! When I first started childcare, I had a 6 year old for the summer, and her brother was in a center. They say that it cannot be passed through older children. That is a lie! My 2 year old daughter had it for almost 3 months! She kept having high fevers (up to 103) and having rashs. Doctors seem to think it kept going through her. We ended up with roughly 10 doctor visits and 2 ER visits! It was horrible!- Flag
