Handing out Flyers

Do any of you have any luck with posting flyers with business cards attached at your locals stories or putting them in neighborhood newspaper slots??? I have tried this once for 50 homes and didn't receive one phone call but I am to the point where I need to try anything to get more children...I have tried care.com, sittercity.com and craigslist, no luck with any of them...

I had good luck with postcards through vistaprint. I picked that I wanted them sent to homes in the area with children ages 2-5.

How do I do that?? How were you able to find out the homes that had that age range of children?
