Are There Busy And Slow Seasons?

I've had my daycare open for about a month now and I've gotten several calls and emails and done 2 interviews, which I feel is pretty good considering I've only been advertising on CL. I'm thinking things will pick up next month and throughout summertime since school will be out.... Is this usually how it is? Or are there just random waves of busy times and slow times?

Yes - I've noticed a trend. Lots of calls April and May. Slower in the summer. Calls right before school starts (no one plans ahead). Calls in December/January. At least that's how it's gone for me the past few years.
