    Outdoor Attire

Today and yesterday were only in the low 30's and a few days last week were 38/39 out and parents are sending their kids in sweatshirts and no hats, gloves.

I know it's April but we live in WI so anything goes here in spring. Sending home a note to a few parents (although the way the note is written it looks like it's being sent to all....)

I wonder why these same kids keep having colds over and over this spring.

    Anyone else having this problem?

I definitely hear ya! We're in the same boat over here in MN - I brought out the kids winter jackets and gloves this morning! (Note...that hats had never even been put away.. )

LOL I have one particular dcm that has been bringing 12m dcb in a hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up at least) at 630am...when its only 32 degrees outside. Yet when we had the really warm spell a few weeks ago and it was 72 degrees outside we were all out playing and I didn't have a hat on him At that time she says in a really snarky tone, well I don't think its warm enough yet to NOT have a hat on. The next morning she asks me to make sure he has his hat on..and I reply "even if its 78 outside?"... She says "yea, I still think it's too chilly to not have one on and I don't want him to get sick" :: OOOOOKKKK! AND NOW...she doesn't even put a hat on him or even bring one for that matter and its only a high of 48 today. Makes no sense at all...
