Huge Cardboard Box

I stopped at an appliance store today and they had several cardboard boxes setting out beside their recycling dumpster on a nice clean grassy area. They gave me a great freezer box for my kids to play in. My kids Love boxes. We bought a New dishwaser last November and played with the box for months. That box wore out and is gone.
Anyway I brought it home and sat it on my back porch but then I got a little paranoid. I worried I could bring in a roach. Never dealt with them but I never bring in any boxes from grocery stores. I think it would be fine but what would you do? Would you just get rid of it?
My kids LOVED the last box. It would be sooo coool.
It looks really new and clean.

Keep the box. Sounds like you just got yourself at least an hour or more of free play activities Cardboard boxes are the best!

Noooo. Please keep it. I love cardboard boxes for kids to play in...they can become so many different things. I never have been able to find one big enough.

Just shake it on the ground really good. If there's critters in it, they run out.

Oh shoot! I never thought about that. I should have to keep the boxes that I bought new four appliances this past November. The kids would love that. That is a great idea! Thanks for the tip!

I remember getting a HUGE box years ago. We lived on the Air Force base and it was something a plane part had come in or something very big! We cut a doorway and a window and the kids painted it to make a house. It lasted quite a few months...they LOVED it!!!
