    Nastygram sent...

I'm supposed to take care of SA kid off Kindergarten bus. DCP's worked out actual pick-up with neighbor, she's dropped off at my house - then I feed SA'er lunch and she's 'supposed' to be picked up by 1:30 most days ...(it's always more like 3) My DD and DCG are good friends, so it's more like a play date for my daughter and they pay me like $400/month to do this, so I def. don't want to rock the boat, it's a cushy gig...

However, They **** at communicating! I never know when DCP's are coming, and today Grandma came to pick up DCG at bus stop and NOBODY let me know. So here I sit, waiting for the doorbell to ring, have lunch all set... minutes tick by, then I have to call neighbor, no answer... freak out, text neighbor... oh, G-ma picked up. Really??? And nobody thought to call and tell me? Well, e-mail sent. This just adds to my already crappy week =)

On the plus side, I am losing one of my full-timers, but have been contacted already for someone with twins, wanting full time school year and part-time summers. Puuuurrrrfect =) Crossing my fingers.

That would cause me to panic as well. I hope it just slipped their mind this once and they'll be more aware in the future.

When my kids went to after school care and we forgot to call and tell them that they were sick or we picked up early, they charged us a $50.00 inconvenience fee.

I did it once and never again... I forgot to call them to tell them I had picked up my child for a doc appt....

As the others said, add an inconvenience fee. If I recall right, you've posted about this happening before.
