Kids Tool Bench

Anyone have a kids tool bench toy outside? I think the boys (& girls) here would love a tool bench but I don't want it inside, my childcare is noisy enough and I don't really have the room. But I thought outside it would be good to fix the cars, slide, play house, etc.

Which one do you have and would it hold up outside?

I've had a couple of different plastic ones, and none of them can hold up against my kids.

I'm planning on making one out of wood....amongst the hundred other things I have planned thanks to pinterest.

I JUST scavenged a shelf thingie last night from someone's curb so DH can make me a pinterest-esque workbench for the kids. lovethis It's the perfect size.

I need to warm him up to converting old furniture with the workbench so he's not scared when I tell him about the kitchen I have planned for his building prowess.

I'm having a feeling husbands are going to start a revolt against pinterest!:: I bet most of them have never been asked to build so many things till the onset of pinterest.

Everytime I point out something cute or that I want DH to build, he just points to the woodshop and says "You know where the tools are. You are free to use them too."

Guess I will be getting some shop experience in the near future! ::
