I miss working out. I don't know why but it seems I just haven't had time lately, but my hours are still the same.

I used to go around 8pm, after the kids were in bed, and I would do about 20min on elliptical and 20 on bike, then maybe another 20 on weights. Then steam room and shower, but I'd only go 2-3x a week and felt like I had to make it up, thats why so long. Plus I'd read the first 40 mins, uninterrupted so I really like it, tho I've always hated the bike, !

Now, I'm thinking of getting back into it, but I'm going to start by throwing babies into stroller and taking morning power walks first, just so I don't feel silly panting on the machines after 5 mins

Besides the exercise I get chasing toddlers all day... I got to bootcamp everyday usually between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. I like going in the mornings when my husband is off and can watch my dcks for a while. Sometimes I'll go twice on days like that! I also am starting to run again!

My motto this time around is "no more excuses" (biggest loser totally copied me!)

You have to do different thing to get different results!

I've lost 41lbs since January!! Yay happyfacehappyfacehappyface

I don't know if I could do this job and not work out! The energy I get from exercise is really the key to having good days, most of the time!

Oh, I used to LOVE raquetball! Our gym doesn't have courts, so I haven't played since we moved to this town. I'm fierce though, and very competitive.

I used to run in the early afternoon while the SA's were at school. Now that I'm doing DC full time and pregnant, I'm meeting a friend for a 3 mile walk 2-4 mornings per week, as early as possible. I'm also taking my oldest son to the gym now at least 1 evening per week, usually around 6-7pm.

I usually work out on the Wii during nap time if I can get everyone to sleep at the same time. I really only have 1 daycare boy, plus my own child, so its pretty easy for me to do so.
I've lost 30lbs since Jan. 23rd and I am loving the new energy I have!

My exercise trick is to ONLY watch TV while I am on my elliptical. LOL!! If I wanna watch the show, I have to keep moving.

I also use audio books too and if I want to stop, I force myself to only quit at the end of a chapter.

DCK's and I also go for a long walk everyday....pushing a double, sometimes triple stroller is a great work out!

I do 30 minutes on the elliptical every weekday morning at 6am (I don't open til 7), and I've lost a couple of pounds over the past couple of months. I wish I was having as much success as some of you ladies! Congrats happyface! That's hard work!

Every little bit helps. In the morning, I do 50 jumping jacks, 5 push ups, 25 sit ups, and 25 mountain climbers. I do 2 sets of those.

I take the kids for walks when I can.

At naptime, I get a book and walk up and down the stairs while reading for 15-20 minutes.

I take my kids for bike rides after work.

When my kids go to sleep, I work out with DH in our basement. We lift weights and do yoga.

I do not have time to go to the gym, so I fit in a bunch of little work outs throughout the day

It works. I can say, after 2 kids, that I am in great shape!

My DD said to my DH "I love you dad but I like cuddling with mommy better cause she is more comfortable"

I am aweful about actually working out. One time I got a personal trainer and it wasn't my lack of activity that was hurting me it was my matabolism that I needed to retrain. Most of the time I only eat one or two meals a day and it is usually in the afternoon.

I knew the kids kept me busy but when I wore one of the pedometers to track my steps, I was amazed by how many steps I take in a day!

I love sports and was super active in school, I ran track, played basketball, softball, soccer. That kind of excercise I dont mind. I just can't run any more to many aweful shin splints and running with improper shoes.

My kids are in juijitsu. They just put in a Curves next door. So maybe I will go do that while they are in jiujitsu a couple times a week.

I've tried the wii and xbox zumba and other excercise things and my kids and husband just make too much fun of me. sometimes I can it done during nap though. But then I'm all sweaty!

Although, I love my cuddle time and wouldnt want anything to impose on it!

My husband frequently works out at 10pm. I could never do that. First off at 10pm I'm ready for bed and am [B]not[B] motivated to work out. Second if I somehow did find the energy to do it at 10, the adrenaline rush I get from a good workout would keep me up for hours.

I recently had a baby (she's 3 months) and I thought nursing would help me lose my baby weight. Everyone told me it would burn tons of calories. So far the weight hasn't budged. We go for a walk or bike ride every day after dinner, but I guess that's just not enough.

Congrats to those of you who wake up early to exercise!! Good for you!!

I used to be that way years ago...If I worked out at 10pm I could stay up all night. But I am immune to it.... But if I take time off and then go back, it's like starting all over again...

In the evenings for 45 minutes, around 5:30/6:00.
                            It makes me feel energized.

I am too wiped at the end of the day, so I get up around 5 and work out at home then. Lately I have been using the Tony Horton 10-minute trainer, so you can do from one, up to three stacked 10-minute workouts, so they are pretty easy to fit into my schedule. Daycare opens at 7 (though I have one that comes at 6:45 - with permission ).

I go to the gym with my son after work. Usually around 6:00 for an hour. I lift weights, sometimes do a little cardio and then relax in the sauna or steam room.

Aside from keeping fit, it calms me, gives me more energy, I rarely get sick and it gets me out of the house for a bit.
