Is This The Year For Sickness?

I haven't been sick this much for years! This is honestly the best I have felt for 3 weeks and it is a great feeling.

Anyway everyone I have talked to in my area that have been sick or know of someone that has been sick says its horrible. Most people are missing at the least 2 weeks of work!!!! That is just for them, not kids, just them. A few people were actually have to be in the hospital because of being so sick.

I'm just thinking wow! That is the one good thing about working outside the home is you do get sick time built up.
Each day is a fresh start

We only get one shot at this!!

It has been AWFUL here, too! All of the dc kids and my family were sick off and on since last October. I never thought it would end. My dd who is 17 got a horrible double ear infection and she's never had an ear infection in her life!

Our doctor said that it has been a particularly bad year.

      I know what you mean!

My always sick dcb came today with a runny nose. He spread hand foot andf mouth last week. Two weeks ago he spread rotovirus... for the SECOND time in 4 months.

Im terming him as soon as I get someone else to replace him. I have a bunch of ads on Craigs List. I keep hoping he will get better but it never happens. Something new every week, and I am so over it!

My DC has been open for only 10 months now, but I can't believe how sick I and the children have been! If it's not a cough and runny nose it's strep, or pink eye, or allergies, or yada yada yada! I usually have 10-12 kids a day and right now (given that it is Spring Break) I only have 5 and one just went home with a possible ear infection! Crazy!
