Favorite Outdoor Items

I'm looking to replace some of my outdoor stuff, what are your kids favorites?

For us, it's the sandbox and the playhouse. We also have a few big dump trucks for the sandbox that the boys will spend hours playing with.

the little tykes cars/vans seem to be big hits. slides and playhouse for little ones.

older kids love the little picnic tables and the swingset.

i am looking into a new playstructure that will have monkey bars, rock wall, slide, fort, and sandbox all in one.

I personally like to limit as many toys as possible outside. I found that the less they have, the more active and creative they are outside. We do have the playground structure, a kids picnic table, a cozy coupe, and a trike. As far as toys, all I have is a bin with shovels, watering cans, buckets, chalk and balls (enough of each item for every child). The kids cannot open the bin by themselves, so I actually will limit the bin toys to ~2-3 times per week. I am adding a sand and water table with a small amount of sand toys next week.

We do mix things up quite a lot by doing various activities outside (sometimes we will play with the parachute outside, bubbles, shaving cream, painting outside, snack outside, baby pool in the summer, sprinklers, water balloons, etc.).
