    Notification of Rate Increase?

I am raising my rates simply because my rates are way to low, lower than everyone around me and I am just not making enough.

I have one family that I am totally getting taken advantage of for many reasons hours for pick-up, drop off, forgetting to bring wipes, their 4 year old potty trained daughter is pooping her pants a couple of times a week with no extra clothes brought and no pull ups. As well as us agreeing to keep them until about 6:15p - 6:20p two dys a week well this week Ive had them everyday until about 6:20p and dropped off before 8am! Which is not what we agreed on AT ALL. Just a bunch of stuff.

So .... What would be the best way for me to notify them of their rate increase??? Is there a sample letter somewhere or something?

One of them I am not even getting $100 a week for. I am getting $175 for both and honestly ... they arent worth it to me.

Hi, my notice is something like this:

    Dear Parents,
As of ________ (put date) your child care payment will be $_______ (put new rate).

I _____________________ (parents name) have read and agree to the above.

    __________________________ ________
    (have parent sign and date.

    simple and to the point.
l always highlight the change so they notice that its a change.
    Good luck.
    Debbie
