Wow...Discount School Supply Price Increase

I wanted to order another walk rope today, but looks like with the new fees they have attached, I won't be ordering from them any more.

Gas prices are nuts. SO now a $20 item cost me $27.....


Due to the volatility of energy & fuel costs which are beyond our control, an additional fuel surcharge may apply to your order. All orders, including those that are eligible for free shipping, may be subject to the fuel surcharge fee.

The additional fuel surcharge will appear as an item on your packing slip, and as the last item of the order. The additional fuel surcharge will not appear in the section of the Packing Slip where Postage & Handling appears.

If the ship-to address is in a state where sales tax applies on Products only, the additional fuel surcharge amount is exempt from sales tax.

If the ship-to address is in a state where sales tax applies to Postage & Handling charges in addition to Products, the additional fuel surcharge amount will be included in the calculation for sales tax.

The additional fuel surcharge does not count towards the amount to qualify for Free Shipping.

Promotional discounts do not apply to the additional fuel surcharge.

I just saw this when I was ordering this morning, I couldn't believe it!!!
So I went to Constructive Playthings and got what I wanted and on sale!

They have a walking rope on sale for $9.99. It is the kind with the colored rings that they hold onto. I don't know if that is what you were looking for but you might want to give it a look!

And with our rating system "grant" of $500, we can choose Kaplan, Discount School Supply, or Lakeshore learning. I am not sure why they only go with those:confused: I could get a LOT more from Walmart and Amazon, some of the EXACT same items are 30% cheaper!
