I'm looking for Learn to Speak Spanish DVD experience...

This summer I'll have a handful of school age kids along with 2 children who will be napping in the afternoon. I was thinking about the battle to keep the older children quiet during naps and thought about finding some Learn to Speak Spanish DVD's for the older kids to watch. The ages will be from 5-9.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an effective learning set?

I have purchased "Learning Lingo" Latin Spanish. I do like it, and even my 6yo doesn't mind it too much.

No matter what actual language program you use it will seem like "school", I think.

In Learning Lingo (immersion method) they are in Mexico and they actually teach you by speaking with natives. They speak it in Spanish, then the American speaks it in Spanish, then you speak it in Spanish. Then after the very basics, they do things like go to a store and purchase something, again, using the techniques above.

It's a lot more interesting than a book or CD program, but still takes perseverance and is work!

It is also a lot cheaper than Rosetta Stone.

You can even pick them up used on eBay.
