Just got two 3 year old twin screamers. How do I make them stop screaming? It's. It when they are upset- it's when they play and over any random thing. It's making the babies scream and copy them randomly.... I WILL not have a house of screaming children. Talking, redirection, and time out only work for the short term. I am constantly telling them to stop yelling. Help!

I'm all ears on learning how to stop this also with one in my group. Had the child a year and its just getting worse and worse. I've actually mentioned they may want to have the childs hearing checked because there is no normal tone, everything is loud screaming, screaching, yelling, etc. Then they said someone else mentioned the same thing! Then this week I've actually had another parent comment about it so now I'm not sure if I should tell the parents that other parents are making comments or just insist they have the hearing checked.Each day is a fresh start

3 year old twins??!! Oh goodness, I would not be able to deal with kids that big screaming all day. If they couldn't get with program within the trial period, I would not be able to handle it. With one kid, I separate them but transitioning two older screamers at a time....sorry, Im no help on that one.Comment
