Wow! Going From Feeding 8 To 3 Next Year

I just realized that starting in late August I will only be preparing meals for 3 dcks!! 4 of my current dcks are leaving for kinder in the Fall and one older child I had is staying home full time with mom and their new baby.

So I'm trading all my preschoolers for younger infant siblings that will be starting in August.

Meals for 3 will be so different. Usually meals had to be doubled to feed the 8 I have now but with 3 I'm going to really have to change things up because the ones I have left are my younger preschoolers who don't each much at all.

Definitely will save a bit on the grocery side of things.

This would stink for me because less kids means less food program money and less meals to write off at tax time.
