Flowers From Parents On Last Week

So one of my daycare parents brings me a flower arrangement this morning - since this is my last week. They are a little "different"... Sunflowers, purple flowers, orange flowers, some tree branches... rocks... Its VERY artistic I would call it.

This family is moving out of state this week. I thank them for the flowers this morning and they leave... I check out this interesting flower arrangement after they leave and realize there is a card stuck inside it. I pull it out and it was a card made out to the DCD! It was a goodbye flower arrangement from someone at his work! HAHAHA! I got a re-gifted goodbye gift! LOL I won't say anything to them about it because that would just embarrass them and like my Mom always told me "It's the thought that counts"... But thats kinda tacky... At least take off the card from before! ::

I would give it to them at pick up. Tell them it must have fallen out of their car. You found it in the entryway. Lol

I mean, you ' did ' find it. Lol

I would give them some credit. If they are moving this week, the last thing they probably want to deal with is a fresh flower arrangement. So why not give it to someone who would appreciate it?
Granted, they should have checked for a card first. ::
