How do you speed up drop off?
I have a dcd who thinks I need to know what time kids woke up, exactly what they had for breakfast, their current and previous mood states for the morning, etc. Then, after the kids run in, happy to be here, he stands at the door and just doesn't say anything, then calls them back to him to say goodbye (sometimes causes issues), then they run and play, and come say goodbye again... It takes about 5 minutes, but during that time I have a hard time controlling the littlest children, and I cant supervise the others well.
What do you guys do to speed it up? I have a quick dropoff sectin in my handbook, but this dcd just can't leave.
I am looking for any good tips and tricks- I am not the person to flat out say the kids are
