2 Year Old Hitting Herself!

I have a 2.5 year old dck who literally hits herself in the head to keep herself at wake! At this point, she's going to hurt herself! I have to keep her on the opposite side of the room from everyone, with a sheet up as a barrier (although nobody cares about her drama anymore, they go to sleep:. Any ideas?? She's too big for those baby sack things that keep them from touching their face

Can you distract her with a different activity? Maybe counting her fingers or something?

Well, for most of nap she occupies herself to avoid nap (whispering stories to herself, talking to her stuffed animal, etc.). But when she gets REALLY tired and her body starts to fade, she smacks herself in the head! I can't necessarily predict when that's going to be and I can't very well distract her for 2 hours :confused: ughh I'm going to ask mom for a straight jacket :: (Don't worry, this mom would laugh. )
