It is gorgeous outside and we have been staying outdoors for hours on end. What do you all do for little ones who need to go potty? I currently allow my older ones to walk in the house and go and then return to the playground area. My daughter is 2.5 but short and can't open the door on her own or wash her hands on her own. She is PT but needs that little bit of help. I thought of bringing a potty outside for her and sanitizer, wipes, a trash bag and could rinse the potty with the hose. The area is fully fenced for privacy but I don't want to get in trouble. It is a pain to bring the whole group in when she needs to go. What do you all do????

I am lucky-my potty trained ones are big enough to manage on their own, and I can stand on the balcony and have both inside and outside within sight, sound, or both.
We are also in a rural area, so the boys can "pee on a tree"...Not sure what to do about that when I have my star rater here. I am pretty sure the city-folk will frown on that.
If you have an outdoor faucet, can you set you set up a real handwashing station? Hand sanitizer is lame. Otherwise, outdoor potty away!- Flag

OMG! This SO made me chuckle!::
Just yesterday, my licensor showed up when we were outside. One little guy whipped his pants down and peed right behind the bush.
I tried to stop him, and tell him he needed to go inside, but he's too smart and shot back with "but you let me pee here all the time!"
I was mortified.
My licensor is totally cool though. She pretended she didn't hear him.
To answer your question though, I typically stand in the doorway so I can see both inside and outside. Technically, I am supposed to bring them all inside.- Flag
