    Nose Pickers!!!!!

I have 2 boys that pick their nose constantly! I mean all the time, it is so disgusting!!! I can be hounding them 5 minutes after they get here to stop picking their nose. I tell them every single day "your fingers don't belong in your nose" and make them get a tissue......ideas on how to make them stop? I wash my pillows on my couch constantly because they wipe them. EWW!!!!

Every time you see them with their fingers up their nose, send them to wash their hands.

They'll get tired of it pretty quick.

I do this too. It works for my crew typically as well.

I had a mom paint her sons fingernails. Not only did he hate the smell so he'd keep his fingers out of his nose but if got caught picking with clear polish on, she painted them pink and red! ::

Tube socks. I have one child right now that will pick till he bleeds and no amount of hand washing has made a difference. Three days of wearing them and all I have to do is show him the socks and he stops. He's 4.
              I see little people.

Ewww! Thats gross. Mitted sweatshirts sound like a great idea. Or make them eat their boogers and they'll never do it again! haha JUST KIDDING!

Thanks for the ideas, but they do eat them too, so that's nothing new...ewww!

And handwashing would be fun to them, they wouldn't care!

                        Oh GOD! Thats nasty

Don't let them sit on your couch and put your pillows up! I would never look at my pillows the same (insert vomit emoticon!)

I hope they stop for you! Good luck

I posted about this over a month ago. they were wiping it on my microfiber couches.

So I put sheets on all of my furniture and they havent even attempted to sit on it anymore.

They asked why the sheets were on and I said loudly and firmly,

If you choose to pick your noses and use my stuff as a kleenex you are no longer allowed to touch it.

I put most of the toys away too. they asked where those went too and I said you dont get to touch my toys if you cant keep your fingers out of your face.

I have also threatened to go to their house and wipe my boogers on their toys too if they dont quit it.

And the sad thing is, is that they are 5 and 6, so it's not like they dont understand what Im saying.

Ya but I find with those shirts they just wipe their noses and then there is snot running all the way up their sleeves.

                            Gross.
