One of the requirements for a 4+ star rating in our state is an annual budget. Does anyone have a template for a family childcare budget? I have never done one, although I have a vague idea of how they work.
There are just so many variables in FCC. If one child leaves or joins the group, the affect is not absorbed in a group of 8 the way it would be in a center, for instance. How do I account for that?
Also, I just started in February of 2011 after a long time out of the business, and spent a lot of money on new toys and supplies the first year.
