Sorry I am not good at math or English but this flyer sounds very very confusing to me

I dont understand where it says non attending children and the prices sounds very low for a weekend rate, but I live in CA in SF so I guess that's why I think that...

Thx for responding. I'm in TX

Non/Attending Children; would be kids not enrolled in my daycare. I will hand out flyer's around my neighborhood/stores and post on CL. I'm also thinking of asking my current families for referrals. I'm completely full during the day, but could pick up some extra cash by during this and overnight care.

      Thanks!

I agree that it's really confusing. I would just make one set of prices and stick with those...if you want to give a discount to your attending families, keep that more "under wraps" when it comes to the public flyer. Let your families know that they get a special rate.

Just one set of prices on the flyer.

I would probably make it an hourly charge with a 4 hour minimum, and hefty late fees (but don't advertise those, ). Give yourself definite hours of availability, i.e between 7 AM and midnight.

Very confusing, very hard to read and figure out what you are charging for what.

          Keep it simple.

Charge $xx.xx per day for 1/2 day (up to 5 hours)
Charge $xx.xx per day for full day (up to so many hours)
Charge$xx.xx per day for overnight care (until 7am)

All of these rates are per child

Additional children rates, please add an additional
          $xx.xx for half day
          $xx.xx for full day
          $xx.xx for overnight

I didnt even read thru your flyer....very confusing and gave up after the first few lines....

You might also consider a "tear off" form of flyer. Put just the minimum eye catching amount of info and then have tear offs at the bottom that direct them to your website or even your email address for further information. Are people really going to stand around and read every detail? probably not. so directing them to the full details and keeping the flyer simple might be better. I had good response from tear off flyers in the past.

I agree with this. I thought maybe it was confusing because I didn't have the patience when I read it yesterday to cipher out the meaning of the rates. Definitely keep it simple so there is no question of what is owed.

I would also make sure you have the parents fill out a short form for their kids--it can be a combination info sheet and contract. One page, with the top half kid's name and birthdate, parents' contact numbers, one emergency contact, any allergies the child has. The bottom half of the page can be a contract stating what hours the child will be there, expected pick-up time, expected pay and when it's due (before or after care), late fees you'll charge if pick up is late.

I agree w/ other posters... way too complicated.

Also, I agree w/ Silver that you should have a shshort contract/info sheet for each client. Keep them on file for repeat customers.
