Mothers Day

That is such a cute idea!!!

Honestly, I forgot that Mother's day was coming up and I finally got off my ass and figured something out and it turned out really cute! I got little metal flower pots and watering cans and put that green stuff that is in floral arrangements in them. Then I got a variety of artificials flowers and had the kids stick them in the green stuff. Then the kids made cards with either a photograph of them or their handprints on them. I put a miniature box of chocolates in each gift bag and I wrote a Mother's day quote on construction paper hearts and put the heart on the gift bag.

Not too shabby considering that I almost forgot Mother's day. It's easy to forget when you don't have a mom (

I did a flower pot with lady bugs. The red body is the DCK figure print then I took a sharpie for the antennas & dots. Turned out cute, I just wasnt able to get a flower for then (last minute project)

When all my tiny fingerprints

those are cute, my dc kids did a book that included a poem about handprints, but they all painted their hand prints on the poem so I am now, printing out a new poem to place in with it....they also decopaged the sides of cut milk carton, and we planted the flowers this in them earlier today....i like your idea much better.
