One of my dcp has been having financial probs and we had some check bouncing issues. If you remember my stories, I put her on probation, which she recently came off of on a good note. Cash payments, on time for the past 6 weeks. Today, she emailed me written notice that she can't afford me any more.
I appreciate a few things: 1. She gave me 2 weeks notice, which I ask for in our contract. 2. She thanked me for all my hard work and said that she really doesn't WANT her to leave. I know this is true-it's finances. She paid 90 per week before coming to me (and she pays me 160 per week).
It stinks getting the news on a Friday though. Oh, and my paid vacation is April 2-5th, so I won't be getting that from her. Sigh
Thanks for letting me vent!
