I wasnt even actively looking to fill the spot but I have an ongoing ad on Care.com. The mom was originally looking for a nanny and emailed me. I emailed her back and said that I am an in home provider and if she was looking to explore the option of home based care I would be more than happy to meet with her. We spoke on the phone this evening and she and I clicked right away!
She has a 3 month old and her last nanny found out she was pregnant and moved to Utah. I am so excited as I love infants and would love to fill my last spot with one. The 13 month old in my care is a teachers child and will be moved to drop in for rhe summer so this is coming at a perfect time!!
The only red flag I heard this far was baby does not like being put on his back. Sounds like silent reflux to me. I have dealt with quite a few silent reflux babies in the past. She said she has a foam wedge that gives a slight incline when he is flat which helps out.
