Yes, yes!!! I feel that way sometimes too! In fact right now I am going through major "Senioritis". I do not do childcare in the summers & Ia m counting down the days until school is out. Believe me as it gets closer my patience is wearing thinner & thinner. And even though I do love the kids I watch I am ready for a LONG break!

FACEBOOK FRIENDS! Friday is National Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. YES it's real. Yes it's important. Tell whoever cares for your child THANK YOU. It is easy to get busy with life and forget to thank the people who care for your #1. The pay ****s, usually no benefits but still every day they are there with open arms and smiles. Ready to love your child. Remind them you appreciate them!
I love it! Great that you are taking the day off! I hope you have something fun planned!

THis is awesome!! I never knew they had this day til reading it a couple of weeks ago on here!! I wish I had it off as paid!! I wonder if I will get any thank you's, but they probably don't even know about it. I gave my daughter's teacher a present for Teacher Appreciation week. She appreciated it so much!!! I love doing little things like that!! I feel the same way, if I get a xmas gift, or a nice little note, or even to say, they appreciate you, and how the children love coming to you, is very good as well!! I love it and really appreciate at it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
        Have a great day off!!!!

The kids are gone for the day! Tomorrow was supposed to be their last day but the mother said that the father is planning on taking tomorrow off. Looks like I'm done with these kids!!!

            That's a good looking sundae!!

I actually feel lighter today! Other than taking my baby to a doctor's appointment, I'm taking today as a lazy day. I now only have 3 daycare kids on wednesday, so that severely cuts into my finances, but I don't care. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that family anymore.

I actually giggled uncontrollably when I knew for sure they weren't coming today. My daughter thought that was hilarious. I probably shouldn't have done that in front of her, but I couldn't help it.
