Napping All In The Same Room Question

Right now I have two spaces but in the next two weeks my remodel will be done so it will be one space for my family and one for the daycare. This is one area of the day I haven't figured out yet:

If all your kids nap in the same room. What do you do when they wake up early? I have one large daycare space (425 sq ft) were we do everything here except play outside.

I have quiet bags for early to get up nappers or those that don't nap at all (somedays my 4y olds dont' sleep).

Trying to decide if I should let them get up and work at the table or just stay on their cot and work on the quiet bags. Thinking they may be loud wth the chairs.

What works for you? Also thinking maybe I need some white noise for the nappers? I currently use music. I also plan to keep the everyday nappers to one side of the room and the others to the other side.

    What works for you??

Wanted to add I have only preschoolers ages 2-5y and we already start out napping all together but once kids wake up they were going out in my living room but won't once the remodel is done.

oh gosh, that sounds like a nightmare. I have 2 separate nap areas (one for pack n play kids and another for nap matters). It would be HARD to put them together. Is there a dining room you can put the early risers and then they can go right to the table when they wake up?

I currently have a mix of ages here with one room for napping "a small office".

it's so hard with one DCB this kid is hard to put down...he fights his sleep all the dang time!!!! and any little noise wakes him up...have I said grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

If you have an open space "sound will usually echo" try using some partitions" I would work on getting the early nappers more involved in activities...this way they mis-their nap time and sleep with the other kids...sounds like their internal clock needs to be re-set.

      Good Luck!
