    Outside - 50 Degrees & MUDDY

Alright creative people, I need some ideas!! It's somewhat warm (50 degrees, whoo hoo!) It snowed 6 inches last week and rained all night last night, so grass and park are off limits. I have 5 kiddos all age 2-3. What can I do outside that won't make them mud balls and be fun? Any ideas?

I thought of chalk, chasing bubbles, and a small walk, however keeping kids shoes nice is going to be a challenge. I've sent numerous notes home saying to dress the kids for the weather, but to no avail they haven't prepared the kids at all, so if the shoes get trashed, maybe it will be a lesson, ::

We do chalk with dinkies alot when it's like that. They love drawing roads and buildings and then driving around their cities.
