What happened today that was positive?

Today is a beautiful sunny day!

We took a walk and played outside for literally 4 hours this morning. We read a great Dr. Seuss book before nap, and now everyone is literally passed out exhausted!

I'm going to turn on the monitor and enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the porch in the sunshine!

I finally decided that I am going to shorten my hours and close at 530pm rather than 5pm starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day.

Wish it was sunn here, but today we got to enjoy several dr seuss stories and we got a visitor who came by do an observation for early childhood ed degree..someone I worked with teaching and will need to do a few others so wanted to do them in my center. .

Everyone is napping nicely and Im about to work on my own schoolwork so hoepfully I will get some of that done before the littles wake up

I only have 3 more days with my problem family at the end of today. Super duper positive.

My DCG (8 mos) transitioned from hands & knees to a sitting position... all by herself! She will be crawling very soon (oh dear). But I LOVE to see those "firsts"! And I texted her mom who was also very excited and thanked me for my text updates.

Nothing, nothing went wrong today so that makes today a great day! A DCM has been causing so much drama lately that I am just happy having none.
