My Own Kid Is A Poo Today

I know there are a few posts about this but I cant find them.

It's teachers convention for the next 2 days.

My DS is 6 and is mis-behaving so badly, im ready to scream.

He shows off, screams and yells, bounces off the walls, boss's the other kids around, and fights with my 10 yr old DD.

    Anyone else have this problem?

    I need some advice please.

YES!! I think it's part my kids and part them messing up my schedule. I always feel like I'm being pulled in all directions when they are here.

    Hope tomorrows a better day!

Can you put him to work? Have him wash the table or help get supplies out for a craft? Give him the broom and let him clean up the floors. This works with my youngest, but with my oldest sometimes I just have to tell him to go to his room for a bit. Good luck. Hope it gets better.

My kids get the same way when they are home and I also have DCK here. I think part of it is because they are competing for your attention and part of it is the lack of structure from school. My DS does much better on those days if I make sure that I give him at least a few minutes of my undivided attention: play a game, read a book, snuggle/tickle time, etc. Also having him help you out with some extra chore time is good like the PP suggested.

There is no school around here tomorrow either, so instead of having an easy quiet, day that I was looking forward to I know it will be just the opposite. I am already dreading the first week of summer. It is just like these days off, only worse. Good luck!
