Update On I Can't Believe This! What Would You Do?

All my parents were very, very understanding!happyface Some actually said that day worked much better for them-

I actually have the best parents!

I did place a call into the principal and waiting for a call back. My husband and I both can't believe this happened and want to be a voice for all the parents this happened to, not just us. In fact this is the 2nd time I've arranged for time off for something at the school this year and plans have changed.

I dont like how the school assumes that people dont work. My kids' school had a multicultural day and normally they have the kids perform at night but this year they only did it during the day. My son, who is in Kindergarten and this was to be his first performance, told me the night before he cant wait to sing for me! I had to tell him I couldnt go! Oh well!
