I have two DD. Almost 10 year old has NO cavities. 7 year old had 13 by the time she was 5 1/2! Same kids, same toothpaste, same fluoride, same parents brushing and flossing. She just has softer teeth. We did buy her the Sonicare kid's toothbrush and she hasn't had a cavity since - and that's with her brushing her own teeth alone for the past 6 months. I hate seeing all of the fillings in her mouth, but luckily they will fall out. Her molars haven't finished erupting in the back to seal them. We will do that at her next dental appointment in the summer.
Eight Cavities?

I'm sure it's possible, or they were so minor they didn't notice before.
My son is nearly 4 and has not gone for his first time yet. But I really really have been slacking due to the daycare. Im going to call within the next week or so, thanks for reminding me.
(also to spin off on what others have said, we brush his teeth for him because I know for a fact he does not do it well enough by himself- though the electric toothbrushes have helped with him being ok with doing it himself.)- Flag
