For me the biggest sound that makes me cringe is a child who whines when speaking.
(cringing as I type because I hate whining)

I don't mind the playing sounds. But I do hate whining, yelling just to yell (esp. when I have asked 5 million times to use quiet voices), and tattling!
My kids do not really tattle. But I have a friend who watches 4 and 5 year old girls and they tattle CONSTANTLY when we have playdates together. Things like "Johnny touched the couch". Stuff that is like who cares!!!????

I had a DCB whos laugh would drive me up a wall!!! I felt terrible that a childs laughter annoyed me to no end.....
He has aged out of my program now....but it was VERY LOOOOONG 5 yrsComment

Kids chewing with their mouths open, intentionally obnoxious loud drinkers, one dcb's play voice which for some reason turns him into a 2 yr old whining girl ::.
