My First Valentines Gift from a DCP!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

I got my first Valentines gift from a DCP! I've been doing this for 3 years and have never been given anything from a DCP for Valentines (not that I would expect anything anyway). They gave me a $25 gift certificate to my favorite mexican restaurant!! And a card telling me how much they appreciated me. I got teary-eyed when I opened it. Great start to my day!!!

Don't worry. Believe me; I've had plenty of parents give me nothing; this is a first for me. I haven't even had one parent yet bring a valentine or anything for my own children... even though my children give their kids valentines every year.

I got Godiva chocolates from one family, heart socks from another and a coffee mug with a heart on it and a gift card to Starbucks in it from another.

I got a nice box of chocolates from one fam (which I passed on to hubs :. Another fam kept their kids home today which is the best gift of the day .

My little 15 month old walked in with a pretty boquet of flowers. So sweet! Even though she wanted them back after she gave them to me . And her mom also brought goody bags for the whole class and even included my own two schoolagers. I also got a heart shaped box of chocolates. Didn't expect anything but was pretty pleased with how thoughtful a couple of my parents were.
