I keep wetbags in the playroom with the rest of the kids belongings. If you have stink issues, get a better quality bag (it might have a hole in it or old fabric). anyway, as long as parents keep the cloth diapers in good condition, they stink WAY less than disposables IMO

I have two out of five in cloth right now. The hardest part is remembering to bring the wetbag out to the cubbies before pick-up time ::.

We have to pay for extra garbage here, so we end up paying about $4/week to throw out 3 kids-worth of disposable diapers. That's money out of my pocket, so cloth diapers are definitely a bonus for me.

I do make sure that parents know that I will not soak diapers (drowning hazard) and that they'll need to provide a fresh wet bag or plastic bag each day. Besides that, all I do is dump the solids.

I should mention though, that one family uses "flushable" liners that aren't flushable in my house -- they clog the toilet. I just put them in the garbage instead.

My families use all-in-ones, so they last a good 3 hours when we're out and about. I do have families bring 10 or so disposables for when we're at the park longer than usual or in case the cloth diapers run out.

I guess I am the oddball here, but I don't like them. Maybe the fit was not correct, but they did leak. A lot. Not for lack of frequent changes either, every time she peed, they leaked. Seemed too big but mom refused to buy different ones. They were stored in an air tight container, but every time I opened the container, the smell was really bad, like ammonia. But the main complaint I had was pee and poop leaking out. I had to change my own clothes a lot. And furniture got stained. And rugs. Sorry, not a fan of them, but would accommodate if.requested .

That sounds like they weren't washed correctly, and the wrong size, or cheap diapers. I wouldn't like it either. The ones we have smell fine even if they are wet. The only time they smell funny is if someone forgets to take them out of the bag or car or wherever they were and didn't wash them within a few days.

But, even then, it's not hard to get the smell out.
