Activities For Babies That Don't Yet Roll Or Sit Up?

I do a rotation of bouncer/toybar, bumbo, playmat, blanket on the floor, and holding. I try to change the toys on the toy bar periodically, and I always put new and different things to look at and play with on the blanket.

What else can I do with a 5 month old that isn't rolling or sitting up yet? I'm afraid we're both getting a bit bored with the routine.

Same here. I don't have any bouncers, swings, playmats, etc. I just lay out a blanket with a few toys on it and let them work out all those little muscles. My little ones, if they aren't sleeping or eating, are on the floor 95% of their day.

one thing I really like for babes is ......and for the love of me I can't think of the name of it again.

Its a ladybug turntable matt. I put toys out of reach and they love it for small amounts of time. Great for tummy muscles. Floor time is great too- I love me an excersaucer for potty breaks and changing things uphappyface

I plop them on the floor too. I several small baskets of baby toys that I rotate through. I play games like peekaboo with them but for the most part they're just doing their thing. I have one highchair for feeding babies under 12 months and that's the only baby gear I have other than my sling for crankies. Oh and my superyards....can't live without them.
