Have Any Of You Bought/Used The Crib Tent?

Ive been thinking of buying one for my son as he will not stay in his crib or pack n play to sleep i have to lay down on the floor in his room or in my bed if he is in the plack n play in my room to get him to sleep. Sometimes I can be in there an hour before he goes to sleep and Im seriously tired of it. But there are so many mixed reviews on them so just wondering your opinions!

I have a family that had them because occasionaly had a bat in the house and wanted to protect babies, they also stopped them from throwing their binkies out of the crib.....are they also ment to keep kids in? They one she showed me was just like a net dome that went over the bed that zipped, it didn't look strong enough to keep them in in they tried to get out.

yes I know on the product reviews people buy them to keep there kids from climbing out and to keep animals like cats from crawling in!

i googled them but to me I think my son would be trying to push this over inside and would be inside but have the tent on top of him or something.

My really physical DCG tried that when we first put her in it (in the family room so she knew what it was before her first nap in it). I told her no, this is your new bed. You go ni-nights in it. At naptime, she went right to sleep, starting that day! And she started asking to take a nap rather than dreading it. I had her in a room with a video monitor so I could see exactly what she was doing - sleeping I just made sure I pulled all 4 zipper pulls outside when I zipped it so she couldn't open it. I left the vents rolled open all the time and it never got stuffy/hot inside like play tents do.
