    Interview Today :)

As much as I really don't like giving up my weekend time to interview, I have set one up for today. Mainly because my dh is working today so its not interfering with any plans we might have had.

Anyways- I'm interviewing this afternoon & pretty excited as I have only 1 opening (Monday, Wed, Fri. only) and it fits this dcm schedule just fine and its for a little girl, I only have another girl who is 2 so this will give her someone to play with instead of all of these boys I have !!!

So when you interview what's some of the main details you discuss/stress?

I will stress contract, policies and handbook as well as what I have to offer.

Wish me luck, I always get nervous interviewing!!

So sorry about your no-show. I can't even tell you how many times that has happened to me.

One of the many risks we take in this profession! My theory is if they no-show, I didn't want them anyways! Just stinks when you lose that time you put aside for the interview.

I hope your interview goes great tomorrow!!! happyface

Yep, I threw away the info I took from the phone interview yesterday.

No show, no call, no second chance.

              I hate that so much!
I had a no show last Saturday and I missed shopping with my daughter for it!
I am at the point of just not interviewing on weekends anymore.

Good luck to both of you. I had an interview the other week and actually got an email back saying they were going in a different direction. No one ever seems to let you know if they don't want to use you, so that part was nice. But she told me that they were looking for some one who was cheaper and watched less kids. Right now I only have my 2 children plus one full time boy. They are pretty much looking for someone that will only watch her child for less than 75 to 80 a week. Probable will be disapointed when the new be enrolls a few more kids.

I just called the one that was scheduled today. She found care in her neighborhood and "forgot" to call me.

Don't you just hate that? I have done so many interview appointments and it's gotten to the point where I am hopeful they will show up but expect that they probably won't. I had a lady tell me a few weeks ago with two kids that would have made my enrollment full that she would let me know either way, they seemed pretty sure and i heard not one word back...****s.

I have a visit set for wed am for an infant so we will see how it goes.
