Need Ideas For Making A Cover For Cots

I got my cots from Discount School Supply. Now I need some type of cover for them. I am wondering if anyone uses a "sleeping bag" type cover. I am thinking a small fleece throw, and stitching it half way, they can crawl into it and have a sheet/blanket all in one. I am wondering if this will work.

    Any ideas for cots?

i have those kindergarten mats and i would love to have a sheet that fits them! I use my own family blankets for the kids and they are huge. The kids also move all over the place when the sleep. A sheet that covers the mat would be great!

I use crib sheets on the kindermats. they work just great. It will take a few stretches but it works like a charm.

when the child wakes, they take their sheet back to their cubby box. I wash all sheets on friday or sooner if soiled....

Ask a friend who sews to make something like a pillowcase for them. Mine also have velcro at the opening so when they move them around or put them in their storage area they don't come off the mat.

I don't like the kids inside them because I don't think the mats last as long and the sheets rip at the seams.

I bought the cot sheets along with my cots from DSS. They were designed for the purpose and it seemed easier. Then for Christmas I made each kid a fleece blanket that is the perfect size for the cots. Now I need to make them pillows because half the time the kids use the blankets as pillows
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

We use crib sheets on our cots. They fit perfectly and the kids can put them on and take them off on their own.

I have stacking cots.....will the crib sheets still work, as the legs stack into the cot below.

I use crib sheets and they hook the bottom over the legs.

Yep, it's only a thin layer of sheet over the bottom of the legs. The dc my dd went to when she was a baby did the same thing. They stacked them 10 high. I only have 4 but same idea.
