I just saw an ad that bragged in the first sentence in bold capital letters..
"WE WOULD NEVER PUT YOUR CHILD ON A TIME OUT!"

ummmm...I don't use time outs very often myself, just for very serious offenses. but she makes it sound like time out's are equivalent to beating a child!

Then in the pictures of her space, there are tons of walkers,swings,cribs with gobs of toys in them... hmmm

I bet somewhere in the small print it says she will never use the word "no" either.... ::::

I do have a family where dad specifically told me that he does not want me to use the word "no" with his son. I guess because the little boy uses it alot? I am too old to change my vocab though....so I do my best to be positive...but, if he is going to run into the street or do something where he will get hurt or break something, "no" is going to come out. And that family wants me to do time outs.
