I have made the decision to close my daycare. My parents took it hard. It is hard to find a place that you really trust for your kids. But I have to take care of my family first.
I only had 2 little boys left anyway. After I downsized one of my dcg went to preschool and that just left me with the two boys. Oh and one 5 year old who only comes two days a week after school. I am keeping him since it is really just a favor to a friend.
I already am getting excited to have my house back!! I have started to make planes for the daycare room.
Things I will miss:
* Kids
* Having a job that allows me to be home with kids
Things I won't miss:
* SICK KIDS! In six months daycare kids have brought: roseola, hand foot and mouth, c-diff, pink eye, cold after cold, stomach flu etc...
* Parents asking for things that they know aren't part of the deal here.
* The constant cleaning with bleach!!!!
It feels great to be able to do this for my family. I just want to say thank you to everyone here. I have read so much good advice (and bad advice LOL) . Also I want to make sure I put out there to the world how grateful I am to God for providing for me and my family. My husbands job is able to now support us fully and allow me to focus 100% on our own four kids.
