Oh Why...Oh Why?

Did I say yes to watching my brothers girlfriend son?
He is very disobedient. He talks very well and talks back all day. He is loud and obnoxious. He comes in morning trying to run around and yelling. We dont have fun anymore because i spend my days disciplining and redirecting him. It's to the point that I don't want to see my brother or his girlfriend because he will be around and it's crazy. Time outs are a joke. I tell him to stand up he sits down.if I tell him to stop talking and be quiet he tells me he doesn't want too. if I a not standing behind him he will leave the corner. I'm a big joke to him, this is also how he treats his mom. Naps are a joke. He will get up repeatly and it takes close to an hour for him to go to sleep. His mom wants me to wake him after 45 minutes, because it takes hours to put him to sleep at night. Not my problem. She only wants to spend ah hour and a half with him each night and I don't blame. Thanks for letting me vent!!!!!

Oh Lord...watching family is def. difficult!

I ashually would of made a call home to pick him up if he spoke to me like that. I'd tell mom sorry...I love ya, your family...I'd like to help but if he can't follow directions and continues to talk back then he isn't a good fit for my daycare. And the naps. I would never except waking a child at 45 min. nope not having it. It's nap or no daycare period. Your nap schedule shld be up to you and not the parents. Tell her sure, I'll give him a 45min nap but then you'd have to pick him up bc my policy is no nap no daycare.

I lasted a month before my sister decided to forget to pick up her daughter and also forgot to pay me. That was the last time I offered to care for my niece.
