So embarrassed! Kids say the darndest things!

So after school today I was eating some healthy egg rolls because I joined Weight Watchers this week and a 3rd grade girl asked what I was eating. I told her it was a yucky egg roll. She asked why I was eating it if it was yucky. I said because I'm trying to lose weight. Of course she asked why, and my mom (my co-owner) told her that if I lose some weight I'll try to have another baby. (I have a 9 month old daughter and need to lose 60-80lbs before I'll start trying) About a half our later her VERY hot and good looking dad came to pick her up and the first thing out of her mouth was, "If Miss Tina loses some weight she's going to make another baby!" I was drinking some water at the time and glad he couldn't see me blushing!

        kids.......

OMG....this reminds me of a story.

My friend also does daycare in her home. One of the dcg who is four comes up to her and says out of the blue....

"Miss Stacy, my mommy's jj is all hairy".

When she told me this story, I nearly wet my pants. I told her that it would provide a unique bonding experience if she were to re-tell this story to the little girl's mommy. (laughing hysterically here). To which my friend replied, "there's no way that I am telling her mom that one"

I know this an older thread, but I want to ad to it. I had a nap time screamer that wasn't working out. She screamd vloody murder every time I tried putting her down for naps ( parents were aware of this and we were working together on the issue) and she would continue to scream the entire time. To top that off, she started crying and becoming extremely loud even during non napping hours. My other baby couldn't take his nap, and my own kids and the 2yr old I had at tge time ( extremely bright child) became so annoyed by her, that when I told them it would be her last week they literally jumped and down and cheered. I wasn't expecting the reaction ad felt bad for them that she had affected them that much that they cheered at the thought of her leaving.
So on her last day ( my daughter was homeschooled at the time either 4 or 5) when mom camr to pick her up, and if you can imagine the tention already in the air because mom was already upset sbout being terminated and frustated we couldn't figure something out . Well,as I was handing the baby ( 11months) to mom my daughter said something like yay! Its her last day&shes going home ! She jumped up as down... I have never been so ambarrased in my life by my kids ( to this day, shes 7 now) . That was 2 yrs ago. I could feel my dace getting red and all i could do was get after her very sharply by saying thats not nice, its rude, go to your room! And apoligise.
