CL Ad: "Registered Daycare $65 a Week"

    $65 a week for any age, full-time?!

And I thought my $85/per week Part-Time tuition rate was too low.

Wow! I got $80 per week last year for just before and after school care! It wouldn't even be worth it to me for that little money. I wonder if they have a ton of kids?

$85 is the going rate for full time here. I didn't believe it at first, but I've talked to 2 different providers. There would be no reason for them to lie about it--if they told me $85 when they were $100, and I set my price there, I'd be undercutting them. I'm higher than that now because I have 2 that are odd hours and I charge more for accommodating the weird schedules, but my f/t is $85.

Yep, $85 here too for ft care in a home. Centers are higher.

            Wow!!!

Infants here are about $175.00 to $200.00 per week and toddlers about $150.00 per week. I'm glad I don't live there. LOL!!!

Well, look at it this way. My house is just over 1500 square feet. This house in Dallas would cost $150K easily. We paid far, far, far less than that for ours. The cost of living is so much lower than it is for most places, so wages and dc are cheaper.

I live in San Antonio & $80-100 is average for full time. At least from what I've seen on craigslist. However, I have heard that providers seem to charge extra fees on whatever they can. I charge $90 full time and give a 30% discount for extra siblings. I think I undercharge a lot but I just started and do plan to raise the price in about 6 months.

Same in CT but our numbers are low. We can only have 6 FT under the age of 5 and 3 after school kids.
