    Flooring

We will get rid of our carpet and putting in vinyl soon. Trying to decide on rugs and or those foam squares for some of the centers. Those of you that use these now what has worked best and what do you use to keep them from sliding around or bunching up?

I have both. IME, Both are a PITA and virtually disposible....

The mats get liquid in the cracks (drool, vomit, spills, mop water, etc) and can mold and smell. They require you to take them apart and clean/dry them individually, often. This requires a HUGE amount of space (unless you have a big deck. Use a carwashing hose attachment to clean and then slide them between the slats as a outdoor drying rack. )

Rugs trap the same stuff PLUS are impossible to disinfect during cold, flu, foot fungus, hand-foot-mouth and rash season.

    Unfortunately, both are pretty necessary.

Double sided tape and no-slip pads are essential. I toss out rugs yearly AT LEAST.
