Anybody else not ready for tomorrow?

I've been closed since the 19th - 2 whole weeks. I had such grand plans of reorganizing during the break. I managed to do most of my house, but very little of the daycare/school stuff.

I want another week's vacation.

I am so ready for tomorrow. I miss my kiddos. I miss working. LOL.

I also had plans to put out the new toys for the month of Jan., make a newsletter for the new year etc...however, I decided that I have enjoyed my time being "off" and need to take care of ME for now.

Thankfully, tomorrow is a slower day for me once the SA leave, so I will rearrange toys with the little ones tomorrow and do the nitpicky stuff while they nap in the morning. My own son does not start school til Wed. so he will likely get to choose a video just for him so I can get things done. Sometimes, I just have to make it be a part of my day. The kids adjust just fine and will delight in the new arrangements for Wednesday.

NOT ready for tomorow. I was open today and am closed tomorrow only because I have to take my lil bro to the airport to be shipped off for Basic Training for the US Army. Gunna be a rough day....

I want another week's vacation.

Whenever I say that I never get things done, but once I'm back on a tight schedule I manage to get a lot done! I've been off work for nearly two months and not much has gotten done at all. I start my daycare later this week so we'll see how much more I can get done with being on a schedule finally!

I was open today and I am back to full capacity, so you won't see me online much anymore during the day. I am also back to teaching full time... It was nice having only two kids for awhile that were part time, I got to play a lot.....But the income was not so nice...

My day went pretty well considering all of the craziness. I hate the holidays....

I'm been off for 11 days and I start back this morning with a full house. I'm scared.

I've ran at about 50% for two weeks but today, everyone is back. Aghhhhhhhh. Lol.

First day back today after 10 days off. I enjoyed my time off but I'm looking forward to having the kids back. I missed them and their noise. I also thrive on routine and enjoy having things back to normal

The daycare gods have smiled on me today. Half of my kids are out sick so I can ease back into work instead of being thrown headfirst.

Wow you are lucky!! I didn't get to take any time off. Well the weekends of course I did. Glad you got a nice break and I bet you are relaxed BUT are you ready for the reprogramming of the children? I find when they have been gone for longer than a couple days it's like they forget the rules and routine.

I have been off since the 23rd. I am so ready to have my house full of the smiles and laughter of my little ones playing. I miss them all so much!

I thought 2 were coming back today but never showed up so I am thinking I must have told this one mom I was starting back on the 4th thinking that the 4th was Tuesday. :confused:

I have been off since the 23rd as well and am glad to be back to work...well not necessarily back to work but atleast back to a normal schedule. It was a lot of work not pying attention to what day it is and not even looking at a clock.

It is a good thing though that I am back to work, my pj's were starting to get all waaay too comfy.

Besides, I LOVE a new year with all the new attitudes and refreshing outlooks!

I have been off since the 23rd also and I am so glad to be back.
My daughter really missed the kids and so did I.

The parents had a very difficult time finding good care.
One of the parents had a neighbor watch her kids and her kids were not treated well at all and feel so guilty for that!

Another parent had backup baby sitters call in sick constantly.
Maybe now they will appreciate me a little more?
I don't know. I just love these kids and gave them all big hugs today.happyface
