    Well This Is Different

Only 2 dcks scheduled for today. One came in, went hysterical, got cuddles, and fell asleep...I transferred her to the couch and she is now snoring. The other is half an hour late.

Both my own children and my husband are still asleep.

I'm sitting here planning out my curriculum for January and avoiding starting breakfast because, well, no one is awake to eat it.

This is either a bad omen, or a good one, for the rest of the day. Only time will tell which...

      Good omen all the way!

I have no DCK's this week but my dd's are having multiple sleepovers so I still have a houseful of kids. Today I only have 2 seven year olds since all the 12 and 13 year olds (my girls and their friends) moved on to another house last night. They've been traveling in a group since they can't be apart for even a day. I had them all yesterday!! :: Anyway, the girls slept until 8:30 and dh is still asleep so I've had a lovely quiet morning myself. They're making themselves breakfast right now and then going to play barbies upstairs. I'm going to read my book.

meyou, that sounds glorious. Well, except for the houseful of teen girls--that sounds loud! Enjoy your book.

mac, I know what you mean. I am likely only going to have one dcb on Monday and I'm currently wishing that I would have that day off. I'm actually going to ask mom if she's working, because he's the only one scheduled that day and will be so very lonely...

Edit: Just found out that dcb's mom is NOT working Monday so I have that day off! dcg slept through dcb's drop off...maybe this IS going to be a good day!!

I only had one scheduled so I took the day off. Mom has great back up (family) so I didn't feel bad taking the day off since her two kids would have just as much fun with family than they would have had with only themselves at daycare so....

Plus her youngest was SUPER whiney yesterday so a day with Grandma is probably just the cure....

DH and I are headng out of town to (a bigger town...LOL!) do a bit of after Christmas shopping.

Silver~ Yah!! for you!! (I didn't edit your post either...I just hit the wrong edit button. LOL!!) I tried to edit mine to add that I was happy you DID get the day off!!!
